simulation 01 is a collaboration with Chase Buckley that investigates the quality and tone of daylight as an experience related to memory, history, and nostalgia.  In 13 minute cycles, the light shifts from orange, blue, grey, yellow, and red on 3 suspended window blinds being blown by  box fans. Questioning the recreation of nostalgia as a tool used in corporate media, the installation is both self aware of its own facade while also pointing to the simulation of daylight's physocological power and its ability sway perception.
